Belt Size for a 38 Inch Waist (Inches, cm, Letter)
For a 38-inch trouser waist, buy a size 40 belt: about 100 cm in EU sizing, and usually L on letter-sized belts. Belts are sized about 2 inches above the trouser waist, so the buckle closes on the middle hole.
